The term Onions Australia’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is PO Box 8135, Mount Gambier East, 5291our company registration number is 26 558 335 296. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:
· Subscribing to Membership of Onions Australia is voluntary and may comprise the following:
a. Organisations representative of the Onion Growers in each State or Territory of Australia
b. Organisations representative of the Merchants and Sellers in each State or Territory of Australia.
c. Organisations representative of Exporters in each State or Territory of Australia.
d. Individual membership, at the discretion of the Association, may be granted to:
1. Any Grower
2. Any Merchant or Seller
3. Any Exporter
4. Any person or company representing any other facet of the Australian Onion Industry.
Membership shall terminate when,
a. Three (3) months notice is given in writing.
b. After notice of fees due, a reminder has been sent, and no payment of those fees due has been received for six (6) months, the membership shall terminate.
c. If any member shows misconduct towards the Association as determined by the Executive committee, majority rules
OVERSEAS MEMBERS
Will be Associate Members and will have all entitlements as full members except to hold positions of office or have voting rights.
VOTING
At the commencement of each meeting of the Association, those representatives and other members who comply with Clause 5 Membership shall be identified.
a.Each Individual member shall be entitled to one (1) vote.
b. Each Corporate member shall be entitled to three (3) votes.
c. Each State or Territory Body, or National Representative Body shall be
entitled to ten (10) votes
· Onions Australia has a “no refund” policy
