To make your own feather mirror to liven up your accent wall, start with the white foam disc. Stick the stems of the gold feathers into the outer edge of the foam, spacing them about an inch apart. Then, layer them to avoid awkward gaps without crowding each other. Continue around the entire edge of the foam disc. Next, add the maroon feathers in front of the gold feathers, leaving about half an inch of space between each one. Once your floral base is complete, grab a thin wooden circle and glue it to the back of the foam. Then, glue your mirror onto the front and finish off with gold Mardi Gras beads around the edge.

Different ways to style your DIY feather wall mirror

Although gold and maroon flowers pair nicely together, you can always swap the colors for something that better suits your home’s aesthetics. You could also experiment with different types of feathers or embellishments to create a unique look. Consider using a larger mirror for a bigger impact on your wall. Your design possibilities are endless, so get creative!
