Transform Your Door with a Creative Wine Cork DIY Hack

If you enjoy a glass of wine or hosting gatherings, you likely have some wine corks lying around. Instead of throwing them away, consider repurposing them to create a beautiful door décor wreath with a simple DIY.

To start this budget-friendly project, collect natural wine corks. Synthetic corks won’t work for this project. You’ll also need a wooden frame, faux florals, foliage, and a hot glue gun to assemble everything.

Was able to get this beauty finished over the weekend. I was under a bit of a time crunch as my mom asked if I could make this for a house warming gift for one of her friends. Even though my neck was screaming at my by the end of it, I very much enjoyed this little project. Another fun way to upcycle all those wine corks you might have laying around. I’ll have a how to and list of supplies I used up on the blog soon. . . . #springcrafts #summercrafts #springvibes #summervibes #wreath #crafts #upcycle #recycle #diy #diycraft #wine #winecorks #winecorkcrafts #reuse #ecofriendly #winelover #handmade #gifts #handmadegifts #madewithlove #crafty #wino #🍷 #corkcrafts

To prepare the corks for the wreath, boil them in water for 10-20 minutes to soften them for cutting. Arrange the corks on the wooden frame in a pattern, adding faux foliage. Glue everything in place with a hot glue gun.

Make your wreath match your home’s décor

Consider decorating your cork wreath with items like ribbon, buttons, or dried fruits to match your interests. You can also dye the corks before gluing them for a unique look. Get creative and make your wreath a reflection of your style!
